Welcome to The Ericaceae Genome Resource Database

Ericaceae, a large family of dicotyledonous pentapoda, is a woody plant, mostly evergreen, a few deciduous, terrestrial or epiphytic, without stipules. There are about 127 genera and 5583 species, mainly in South Africa and southwest and west China, and there are 1065 species in 22 genera in China. It is an important part of vegetation in many areas of the world except for low-altitude tropical rainforests and deserts. The world's research on Ericaceae plants mainly focuses on classification, mycorrhizal diversity and distribution, chemical composition and application value.

The Ericaceae Genome Resource (TEGR) database provided services for 16 Ericaceae plant genome assemblies. gene models and annotations. TEGR database offering the service of searching for syntenic genes, CRISPR guide sequences, m6A genes, orthologous and paralogous genes, transcription factors, and important functional genes. The Blast, Hmmsearch, JBrowse, Synteny, and Primer Design tools were developed for users. These will facilitate the systematical analysis on Ericaceae plants. Once new genome data was reported, TEGR will be updated and improved in time.
